Welcome to my website.
The purpose of this site is to briefly show my skills and the type of work I enjoy doing. It is also for clients to view product offerings.
My Bio.
I am a web application developer with ten years of software development experience. I prefer to work in a multi tier environment. I have utilized agile and extreme programming project management technique's. I prefer to use the jQuery stack for client side development and display. I attack each problem using an OO approach, encapsulate what varies, reuse code when possible, and format code to standards. I enjoy clean CSS, clean HTML, and clean conversations. I know how to write unit tests for the entire call stack. My project experience includes MVC .NET, ASP .NET, ASP, PHP, Ruby, Javascript based systems. I enjoy using Visual Studio .Net, Eclipse, SVN, Refactor, JSLint, Fiddler, WCF, Web Services, SiteCore, .Net Entity Framework, and N Hibernate software development tools.I love web standards!
Got a project? I can offer many solutions.
I am looking for part time work. I have a full time job that I love. I am looking for what I consider cutting edge work. Contact me
HTML tags are building blocks for web and mobile platforms.
HTML is the most important thing a Web designer or Web developer can learn and is ofter over looked in my opinion. I try to create html that processes fast and is small in size. HTML is important becuase of device sizes and standards. I create html with views for mobile and web devices in mind. A well-coded site loads much faster, is easier to maintain and will be more searchable. HTML is a very important first step in an overall systems design.
The WOW of the web.
CSS is designed primarily to enable the separation of document content from document presentation. It reduce's complexity and repetition in the structural content.
I love to explore new css frameworks. I have implemented MultiFlex 5, jQuery UI, BootStrap, less css, and sass css frameworks. Mixin's are very impressive and I love css enable controls.
Write less, do more.
I dont know what more to say.
Is there anything JavaScript cant do?
.NET & LAMP
I am most confortable in a .net environment. I enjoy the technology, documentation, and visual studio is an awesome IDE. I use abstract base classes, enclapslate what varies, simplify logic, and reuse code. I have written sql stored proc's, triggers, views, index's and functions. I like using entity framework tools and have enterprise experience.
I have worked in PHP, Ruby, and Cold Fusion and a ton of other languages usually supporting an open source portal, doing bug fixes, and UI/Copy updates.
